What is Cologne?

Cologne, one of the oldest known fragrance products, differs from perfume with its alcohol content. It is an indispensable product with its light and cooling feature.

Cologne is one of the oldest known perfume types. It is the most common and most used toilet material known of all time. Today's most popular cologne is still lemon cologne as it was in the past. There are various rumors about the invention of cologne. However, a known fact is that an Italian perfumer invented cologne in Cologne, Germany, not in Italy, the center of perfume, at the beginning of the 18th century. In the past, it was a type of perfume produced for men. Today, it is both a perfume and a hygiene product used by people of all age groups.

The word "cologne" is in the English form "cologne", which is the equivalent of the word "Cologne", as it spread from the city of Cologne in Germany to the world. The French also use the word "cologne" for Cologne. The Germans call the cologne "Kölnisch wasser". It was translated into Turkish as "cologne".

Fragrance is a fact that people have needed and sought for hundreds of years. Humans have a lower sense of smell than animals. However, the feelings of fragrance are sometimes seen as important and valuable as eating. For some people, it can actually prevent feelings like eating. People classify food by smell, distinguish between good and bad smells, and change their behavior accordingly. Aromatic scents can make people experience very different emotions. For example, when we reuse a cologne we used 10 years ago, we immediately go back 10 years, our memories flash before our eyes. These scents can bring indescribable happiness. In this sense, cologne has been a very attractive scent for people for the last 200 years.
